I know I’m not the only one who feels this way, but 2025 seemed to zoom by in the blink of an eye. Holiday season aside, this time of year always invites reflection on shared experiences, accomplishments, and the opportunities that shaped the year behind us. This article is as much about me as it is about you, because that’s precisely why this blog exists: to give back to the community through shared knowledge, open exchange of ideas, and a sense of connection.
After reviewing the year-to-date metrics, I’m genuinely honored – and admittedly a bit astonished – by the results. I extend my sincere thanks to each of you for supporting this blog and reinforcing the idea that independent, community-driven content can still have real impact on a global scale. That said, let’s take a look at some of the key metrics from the past year.

✨ Most Notable Memories
There were many noteworthy moments and achievements this year! It’s impossible to call out each of them – and nearly impossible to rank them as well. These are just a few examples:
- Co-presented a Quick Talk session at Explore 2025 with Dale Hassinger, a dear friend and author of the vCROCS blog. This was our second conference session we delivered together and I’m very grateful for the opportunity to share our knowledge with you all!
Read More - Earned the VMware Cloud Foundation Architect 9 (VCP-VCF) certification while attending the Explore 2025 conference. This was a great experience which I intend to write about soon.
- Recognized for the second consecutive year as a member of the vExpert community. The vExpert program is designed to recognize individuals who give back to the community by sharing their knowledge, supporting peers, and driving meaningful conversations around VMware technologies.
- Participated in four (4) expert roundtable webinars between The Architect’s Edge Live and the VMware Community Podcast. A big thanks to Christopher Kusek, Eric Nielsen, and Corey Romero for their leadership and consideration!
🥂 Wrapping Up
As you can see, this has truly been a memorable year. I never imagined that in just over two years, the vChamp blog would receive this level of support and engagement. These metrics highlight how investing time after hours and on weekends can resonate with a diverse, global audience – and hopefully inspire others to follow a similar path. Thank you once again for helping make 2025 such a successful year! I look forward to connecting with you even more in 2026!
